2 cups all purpose flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together all dry ingredients. In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, sour cream, butter, and vanilla. Make a well in the dry ingredients; then add the wet ingredients, blendly lightly. Quickly fold in the nuts and chocolate chips. Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake about 20 minutes or until a tester inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. Makes 18 muffins.
