Pecan Pie

4 eggs, beaten
1 cup light corn syrup
2/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell

Combine eggs, syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla; beat with an electric mixer until blended. Stir in pecans. Pour mixture into unbaked pastry shell; bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes. Makes one 9 inch pie.
