Megan's Brownies 1 1/2 cups cake flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup shortening 2 cups sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1/3 cup cocoa Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 by 13 pan. In a small bowl, sift together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt. In a large batter bowl, cream the shortening. Gradually add sugar to the shortening, mixing until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until smooth. Mix in cocoa, then the flour mixture. Turn into the pan. Bake for 45 to 45 minute or until a tester inserted into the middle comes out clean. |
