Bird's Nests 3 1/2 cups Rice Krispies 1 cup Coconut 1 cup Miniature Marshmallows 1 cup Chunky Peanut butter 1/2 cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed 1/3 cup Light Corn Syrup 1 teaspoon Vanilla 1 7 ounce pkg. Jelly Beans Combine cereal and coconut in a large bowl and set aside. Combine marshmallows and next 3 ingredients in a saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal and coconut, stirring to coat evenly. Shape mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls; make an indention in center of each ball with your thumb. Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon chunky peanut butter into each indention. Place 3 jelly beans on peanut butter. Makes 2 1/2 dozen birds nests. |
