David Hodder JEWELL was born in 1875. He died in Oct 1953. Married Babette, a German lady known as Barbie. She was the camp cook on a construction site where David worked. She had great ambitions to have many daughters and call them all by jewel names, like Ruby, and Pearl. However she didn't have any children and died of Bright's disease at a fairly young age.

David later married Alice O'Kane and they had one child, Peggy, who was the only 3rd generation descendant at the reunion. Parents: Edward JEWELL and Mary Ann HODDER.

Edward JEWELL was born in 1835. He died on 19 May 1913.

Jennett JEWELL was born on 14 Nov 1877. Jenett worked as a children's nurse and made several trips to Australia in that capacity.
