Passed from this earth quietly but quickly last evening at Porter's Mount.
He had been a sufferer for a long time, consumption being the main trouble.
He died in the local Hospital as he was about to have his tea. The deceased was 42 years of age, died 25th Sept 1922 and was buried 26th Sept 1922 at the Cowra cemetary. Parents: George HODDER III and Mary Jane PORTER.

Joseph Henry had a wagon/cart he used to bring to town. Horse had belonged to a baker beforehand and it would stop when someone spoke. Joseph Henry had a rocking chair on the cart, and whilst William Albert was taking Joseph Henry home from the hotel, Joseph Henry would start to sing - horse stopped suddenly and Joseph Henry fell over backwards off the cart.
