She married JAMES MORGAN RASNICK in Dickenson Co, Va, 1 Jan 1901. (James Morgan Rasnick is #8222.) James was born 14 Mar 1879. James was the son of Elijah Rasnick and Phoebe Lasintha (Loucynthia) Smith. He married VIRGINIA JANE MULLINS 29 Mar 1907. He married ELIZA JANE SMITH. James died 22 Sep 1942 at 63 years of age. They lived at Nora. He was a farmer and apple grower; liked to read and debate; sang bass; played the fiddle and banjo. James Morgan and his third wife Eliza Jane Smith are buried in the family cemetery. She had 4 children, all died young.

He married ESTHER MAY RASNICK in Dickenson Co, Va, 18 May 1918. (Esther May Rasnick is #3271.) Esther was born 27 July 1897. Esther was the daughter of Joseph Henry Rasnick and Ida Honaker. Grady and Esther lived in various places, lastly on Frying Pan in Dickenson County. He was a miner; policeman at Norton; deputy sheriff, Dickenson County, 1949-52. * A rare blood factor caused the deaths of four of their children.

Thomas Kiser and Unknown had the following family:

        i. GEORGE BERTAS "BERT"8 (#11258) was born in Carter Co, Ky about 1910. Bert Kiser was a business man, a school teacher, and a Kentucky State Senator for several terms.
   He had been in government, or politics, at the state level since 1932 when he was Director, Eastern Division, Game and Fish Department. He was the choice of the late Senator Alben W. Barkley to supervise the 1940 census in the eastern half of the State.
   A former school teacher, He served 2-1/2 terms on the Carter County Board of Education. During the administration of A. B. Chandler (1956-60) he was Deputy Commissioner of Highways; Commissioner of the Department of Highways; Administrative Assistant of the Commissioner; and Associate Commissioner in the Department of Economic Security headed by the late Vego Barnes.
   He was Senator from the 32nd district from 1950 through 1954. He again successfully sought the Senatorship in 1961. As that term was expiring he applied for his third term. The 32nd Senatorial district was comprised of the counties of Carter, Lewis, Greenup and Elliott.
   Vivian Dickison Bales said that while in his 3rd term Bert became ill with Cancer and either resigned or died in office.

She married GRADY EZEKIEL RASNICK in Dickenson Co, Va, 18 May 1918. (Grady Ezekiel Rasnick is #3272.) Grady was born 23 May 1898. Grady was the son of Ezekiel C. Rasnick and Ernestine Virginia Kiser. Grady died 28 July 1962 at 64 years of age. Grady and Esther lived in various places, lastly on Frying Pan in Dickenson County. He was a miner; policeman at Norton; deputy sheriff, Dickenson County, 1949-52. * A rare blood factor caused the deaths of four of their children.

He married CLARA ROSE in Whitesburg, Letcher Co, Ky, 4 June 1953. (Clara Rose is #3288.) Late in 1947 in Deppu City, Japan, married (1) Machiko Saeki of Kumomoto Island. A son DONNY was born to them on her 26th birthday, 26 Mar 1949. Having married without required permission of the U S Government, while with the Army of Occupation, he was unsuccessful in his efforts to bring his wife and child to this country and has lost all trace of them. He, on 4 Jun 1953 at Whitesburg, Ky (Letcher County) married CLARA ROSE, d/o JOSEPH and ELIZABETH ROSE of Backbone Rideg, Dickenson County, Va. They have since divorced and he now lives with his sister Esther on Frying Pan Creek.

He married VIRGINIA TENNESSEE COUNTS 11 March 1912. (Virginia Tennessee Counts is #3380.) Virginia was born 6 September 1891. Virginia died 21 August 1959 at 67 years of age. They lived on Frying Pan Creek, Dickenson County, and near Cleveland, Russell County; moved to a small farm near Westminster, Md in 1943. He worked in Bethlehem Steel Shipyards during WW-II and for Minnesota Mining and Milling Co. Both are buried in Russell Memorial Cemetery, Lebanon, Va. COUNTS F-209 pg 54

She married WALTER RALEIGH SUTHERLAND in Dickenson Co, Va, 1 September 1921. (Walter Raleigh Sutherland is #3384.) Walter was born 9 August 1891. Walter was the son of William Floyd Sutherland and Nancy Maryland Sutherland. Walter died 21 November 1972 at 81 years of age. He was a photographer at Haysi; served in Col L, 318th Inf. 80th Div, WW-I; battles included Nanelois, St. Mihiel and Argonne.

She married JUDGE MORRISON SUTHERLAND in Dickenson Co, Va, 5 August 1920. (Judge Morrison Sutherland is #1687.) Judge was born 23 December 1898. Judge was the son of William 'Bill' Beauregard Sutherland and Eliza Jane 'Jenny' Counts. Judge died 15 August 1967 at 68 years of age.

She married BRICE HAMILTON EDWARDS in Dickenson Co, Va, 23 Dec 1908. (Brice Hamilton Edwards is #7627.) Brice was born 8 Dec 1883. Brice was the son of Noah Counts Edwards and Margaret Counts. Brice died 6 Oct 1958 at 74 years of age. They lived on various farms in Dickenson County; moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico; returned to Dickenson County in 1946 and bought the Elmer Owens place at Tivis. He was a member of the Dickenson County School Board, 1940-43 (Chairman). Both are buried in the Tivis Colley Cemetery. They had 7 children. (COUNTS F-1380i pg 185). He married BEATRICE COUNTS. (Beatrice Counts is #3117.) They lived in Knoxville, Tennessee; moved to a farm on Weavers Creek. He was employed by Appalachian Power Company.
