Saving the Postle(s) Cemetery became a quest upon learning of its eventual fate during the 1980's. By generating interest and supporters to be on-site representatives (to name a few) such as Art Funk (deceased) of Westland Industries, etc., and now, Mrs. Linda Walker -- together we are realizing our ultimate goal of saving a historical plot of holy ground containing the final resting places of 263+ individuals (only a few identified) that included the graves of Shawnee Indians befriended by the Shadrach Postles family. | |||||

| My Info: Name: Joanne (aka Jo, Josie & Aunt Jo) Email: JVTh007@aol.com | A genealogy research passion that unearthed some interesting ancestors began a turn of events; in that instead of ignoring them (in cases of questionable character) true life stories are telling of their escapades through history. Current book in the works: "Rev. John Willey's 1759 Unintentional Contribution To History" -- that also corrects some published accounts. | |||||
