General Notes:
Warrant Officer 1st Class- Royal Army Service Corps- RASC 15634, went to middle east in WWII, inducted initially in 1918 at 17years of age.
Lost all his teeth as a result of a virus he caught whilst standing in the Channel for 24 hours waiting for a boat during WWII's evacuation of Dunkirk. Was awarded the Chelsea pension because of this.
For the last part of the war he was stationed at Woking Military Detention Centre - for all military personnel that were being detained for some reason or another.
