It looks a bit like 'Bocks', but HAZLEWOOD family papers (Society of Australian Genealogists 11/6/3/439) say that her mother's maiden name was BECK; and Rodney CARR's typed extract of a letter to Sarah HAZLEWOOD nee WEBSTER from Mary (Polly, daughter of William James WEBSTER) says, 'Our maternal ancestors were very wealthy... Their maiden name was BECK.'
