Posted to Jasper Query Board: "A tombstone in Misemer cemetery in Lawrence County (death in 1877)
has the inscription "A. H. Morley, Joplin Marbleworks" below the information of the deceased. I
found a C. W. Morley in Joplin; a wagonmaker who came to Jasper County from New York in 1874,
according to the Patron List in the 1876 Illustrated Atlas of Jasper County. This man may be
related. Does anyone have any information about A. H. Morley, or the Joplin Marbleworks?"
