Edna Mae MARSHALL
My Great Grandmother, Edna Mae MARSHALL was born in 1887, probably in the Norfolk, VA
(Isle of Wight County) area. She married Robert Roy BELVIN of Norfolk, VA about 1904. She
died in 1919, shortly after the birth of a child. Does anyone have this name on their
MARSHALL Family tree? Thanks. Bette Hill, Burke, VA bhill@erols.com 7/19/97
George MARSHALL
George MARSHALL is on Scott County, KY tax records in 1800. He moved to Eddyville,
KY area in 1816 with his son John Washington MARSHALL. I have cemetery list showing John
Washington MARSHALL died 28 October1846 and his birthdate is listed as 26 February 1796.
John Washington MARSHALL is said to have had 15 children. I do not have information on all
of them. His son John Warren MARSHALL had 18 children. My Grandfather was next to
youngest--born when his father was 70 years old. Obviously my Grandfather did not know a
great deal about his family. I have records stating George MARSHALL is buried in the
Adamson Cemetery in Caldwell County near Crider and it is said that he died in 1827. I
would like to have full list of George MARSHALL's children and wives, his parents, and
brothers and sisters. Also list of John Washington MARSHALL's children. Will share what I
know with anyone that can help. Thank you. bagfunfarm@hcis.net
