To Our Index Page--The Window To Our WebsiteOur Family TiesLike every other family, our relatives have encountered many exciting as well as enobeling conditions during their time here on the earth. Some have profited and grown from calamity, others have dissolved under the best of conditions. We want to preserve their stories to learn they endeavored to do hear and learn from their successes and failures. Below you will find the titles of the stories we have choosen. If you would like to read them, please let us know what you think about our loved ones. One thing's for certain. They were feisty folks, unlike any other who have ever lived. No matter what their burdens, they trusted in the Lord, struggled to obey His commandments and we are encouraged that they are together with Him now.
I was born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, PA and was graduated from college in 1964 so I am a very old lady. I taught school for a few years, married my sweetie and we moved to Virginia. We have four daughters and seven grandchildren. I was a "stay at home mom" for sixteen years and then got involved in politics, ran a few local campaigns, won most of them and went to work for a political action committee in Washington. I wrote my own "How To" book for grassroots politics and traveled around the country teaching. I decided I wanted a change of pace so I went to work for a direct marketing and mailing company outside of DC. There I learned to write fundraising copy, spiffed up my editing skills, learned all there was to know about raising money through the mail, got up to speed with computers, mastered postal regulations (which have all changed) and worked my heart out which is why I had to retire. Now I'm back home. My "Still Sweetest Sweetie" and I have been married 32 years and we still like as well as love each other. My hobbies are reading mysteries, writing, genealogy, and collecting butterflies which are all over my house. My husband says we are ready to lift off.
