            Scheurer

                FOSTERBURG--Paul F. Scheurer, 73, died at 2:20 a.m. Saturday in 
            St. Anthony's Hospital after a short illness.
                Born in Foster Township, he was the son of the late Frank and 
            Ida (Strohbeck) Scheurer.
                He was a farmer and married the former Hazel Hatch on June 8, 1926.
                Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Joy Paul, and 
            a son, Wandell P., both of Fosterburg; seven grandchildren; one great-
            granchild; and a sister, Ida Bierbaum of Fosterburg.
                Two brothers preceded him in death.
                Visitation will be after 4:30 p.m. today at Jacoby-Wise Funeral 
            Home in Bunker Hill where services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the 
            Revs. George Bruce and Clinton Sweet officiating.
                Burial will be in Fosterburg Cemetery and the heart fund has been 
            designated as a memorial.
