                    Polster

                BRIGHTON - Grace E. Polster, 82, of 103 S. Park Drive, died at 
            2:57 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital.
                Born in Brighton, a daughter of the late August and Bettie (Meeden) 
            Strohbeck, she married Edwin Polster on May 12, 1922.  He died 
            Apr. 1, 1967.
                Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Smith of Alton, two grandchildren; 
            and three great-grandchildren.
                Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Warner-
            Targhetta Funeral home in Brighton where an Order of Eastern Star service 
            will be held at 7:30 p.m. and a Rebecca service at 8:30 p.m.
                Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at 
            St. Paul's Methodist Church with the Rev. Keith Geckeler officiating, and 
            burial will be in Brighton Cemetery.
                The church has been named as a memorial.
