                Mrs. Ida (Strohbeck) Scheurer, 73, wife of Frank Scheurer, died at 10:30 p.m.
            on Sunday, Dec. 14, at their home in Fosterburg.  Besides the husband, she is
            survived by a son, Paul Scheurer; a daughter, Mrs. Lester Bierbaum; both of Foster
            Twp., two grandchildren, Wandell Scheurer and Dudley Bierbaum; a sister, Mrs. Louise
            Lowe, of Saint Louis; three brothers, August F., Theodore L. and Wm. C. Strohbeck,
            of the East Side.  The decedent was a daughter of the late Geo. A. and Johanna
            (Brueggemann) Strohbeck, and was born on May 12, 1868, in Foster Township, Madison
            County, Illinois.  Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at the Baptist
            Church in Fosterburg by the pastor, Rev. L. M. Hovda, followed by the interment in
            the adjacent cemetery.  The pallbearers were Warren G., Newell H. and Ralph Strohbeck,
            Edwin G. Polster, Walter Paust and Donald Lowe, six nephews of the deceased.
