            Myrtle Graul

                GODFREY - Myrtle F. Graul, 93, formerly of Brighton, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday,
            Dec. 5, 1992, at Eunice Smith Nursing Home in Alton after a brief illness.
                Born in Brighton Sept. 18, 1899, she was a daughter of late Theodore and Luella
            (Eddington) Strohbeck.
                She married Wesley J. Graul in Brighton Jan. 3, 1923.  He died in July 1964.
                Surviving are a daughter, Ada Lawton of Godfrey; two granddaughters; and five 
            great-grandchildren.
                Five brothers, Newell, Dewey, Earl, Roy and Kenneth Strohbeck, preceded her in 
            death.
                Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elias-Smith Funeral Home in Alton, where
            services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday.  The Revs. Paul Aners and Kennneth Miller will
            officiate.
                Burial is in Fosterburg Cemetery.
                Memorials may be given to St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Brighton, where
            she was a member.
