LIzzie was born August 15, 1870 in Denbigh, North Wales.  In 1888 she married Rev. David Edwards, who at the time was pastor of the Welsh Presbyterian Church five miles south of Wymore.  They had four children -- Gladys, Blodwen, Alvin and Hayden.

During their life together, David was pastor in Denver; Lake Crystal, Minnesota; Lime Springs, Iowa and Rewey, Wisconsin.  After David's death she went back to Wymore where she made her home until her death July 21, 1940.
