This tintype is believed to be of Charles S. Hammonds.

It was among the photographs of Watt Hammonds' widow, Aggie (Phelps) Hammonds. Watt was the next to the youngest son of Charles S. Hammonds. It was at first believed to be of Watt Hammonds, but upon close examination, it is of an older man than Watt would have been at the time it was taken, probably in the 1870's or 1880's. I have left it in an unretouched version.

Jessie married Glea Chambliss in 1950 - she died in 1988

Carl married Eva Florence Dodgen in 1931
Florence married Ben Van Camp in 1980 - Ben died in 2005 - Florence died in 2006.
no children were born to them.

8 February 1907 - 5 January 1982
married Effie Bell Simmons in 1941 - she died in 1960.
one child was born to them - he is living.

28 June 1909 - 4 January 1994
Joe married Alma Mae Ferguson about 1935 - they divorced about 1945.
Joe married Alleta Mae (Eddy) Squyres in 1948. She died in 2006.

My Aunt ... Mary Nellie (Hammonds) Lowrie
24 January 1912 - 3 July 2000
Mary married Alexander Chapman "A. C." Lowrie in 1935. He died in 1979.

Esther married John Franklin Terry in 1940 - John died in 1974.

Deceased is a stillborn daughter - not named - born and died 21 August 1948.

1920 - living
Martha married Ferrell Martin in 1940 - He died in 2004.

Syble married James Gibson in 1946 - He died in 1994.

My Uncle ... Ralph Eugene Hammonds
18 August 1928 - 21 December 1928
He was buried at Easley Cemetery, near Gurdon, Clark County, Arkansas.
