       The Herring Cemetery is located about six miles north of Talpa on FM 2132, and about .2 miles east in a pasture on the Stephen Kemp Ranch, which is normally locked.  This small cemetery of the Herring family is well laid out, well kept, and enclosed by a beautiful old wrought iron fence, with a gate on the south side.  Reading was begun in the southwest corner.
