SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CEMETERY, COLEMAN COUNTY, TEXAS

To reach this cemetery, go about nine miles from Coleman on FM 568 and make a right turn (east) onto a dirt road just after you round a sharp curve to the north with a large oak tree on the right.  Go along this dirt road for a mile and the cemetery will be on your right.

This cemetery is all that is left of a turn of the century (1900) Seventh Day Adventist Colony.  It is said that some graves were moved after the colony dissolved.

This cemetery was fenced in 1983, but is still a bit brushy.  Some stones have been lost to vandals and clearing of brush.  Most of the graves are in the northeast part of the fenced area.  Due to the small number of graves, reading was in a random manner.
