Tombstone says she was born in 1800 in North Carolina - The area that is now
Tennessee
Came over with two brothers. They bought an island and named it Blackwell
Island. That name has been changed since 1950. The first woman doctor was a
decendant of these brothers.
Entire family except eldest daughter, Emma Lovista, emigrated to
U.S. about 1880.
