Louisiana Death Certificate No. 231: Sallie HENDERSON, 85 years, born rural Mansfield, DeSoto Parish, Louisiana; died 2 October 1942, South Mansfield, DeSoto Parish, Louisiana. Sallie was a widow and Colored. She was also the daughterof Sandy DANIELS and Tyra ..... (born Alabama). Sallie was 85 years of age when she died from a cerebral hemorrhage. The informant listed was Maggie BUTLER. Sallie was buried at Shady Grove Cemetery, on 4 October 1942 by Durand Funeral Home.
