1810 CENSUS, Lewis, Essex Co, NY: "Gabriel MIRES", 1 male under 10; 1 male 10-16; 1 male 26-45; 1 female 16-26.
1820 CENSUS, Willsboro, Essex, NY: "Gabriel MYRES", 2 males 16-26; 1 male over 45; 1 female 16-26; 1 female over 45.

There is no proof that Gabriel MYRES is the father of Margaret, However, he is the only MYRES (by any spelling) in this area between 1800 and 1820, who could be her parent. Perhaps someone else can shed some light on this family.

The IGI lists a "Gabriel MEYER" born in Euope who was the son of Isaac MEYER and Jennie RUTTNER. Is this the same Gabriel?
