He married (1) MIRIAM MORRIS January 07, 1881 in Northbranch, Jewell County,  Kansas, daughter of EXUM MORRIS and MELISSA PIERCE.  She was born January 07, 1862 in Fairmont, Grant county, Iowa, and died March 15, 1893 in Esbon, Jewell county, Kansas.  He married (2) CLARA HANLEY LINDLEY 1897 in Northbranch, Jewell County,  Kansas, daughter of ISAAC LINDLEY and ELIZABETH WOODY.  She was born July 18, 1863 in Indiana, and died July 26, 1936 in Bolton, Montgomery County, Kansas.
