Pat Childress, author of the material on this website, was born and raised in the small community of New London, Texas.  He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1969 with an MBA and worked his entire career in the manufacturing industry.  His wife is the former Carol Anne Thompson of Brinkley, Arkansas.  Hobbies include motorcycling, fishing, hiking, golf and horseback riding.

I've really had fun with my "artistic" side since I've retired.  I'm fortunate to have a venue for the display and sale of many of my oil paintings with the Fredericksburg, Texas art gallery "Artisans at Rocky Hill."  Take a look - maybe you'll see a "must have" item!  Here's the corner in which some of my work is displayed:
