Ira G. McMullen (1877-1923)
Son of John Liner McMullen

Ira G. McMullen (1877-1923) and his new bride, Daisy
Olive (Mann) McMullen (1880-1955) are shown above in their wedding portrait
after their marriage in 1900. To this marriage, one child, Edward Duane
McMullen (1914-abt. 1999) was born. I am unsure of Ira's profession,
but records indicate he served as a Texas Ranger in 1901. Tragically, Ira
died in a domestic dispute.
In the photos below, the first shows a winsome Daisy with
a friend around 1900. The second photo is of Daisy and her son Duane,
while the third photo is of Duane's wife Elsie (abt. 1915-abt. 1999)
with Lloyd Victor Mathis (1919-2000) in the Humble Oil "camp"
in Turnertown, Texas around 1945.
