The descendants of John MAY are numerous and well documented. His ancestry is the biggest missing piece of the puzzle. He came to Ross County, Ohio, about 1800 from Pennsylvania. He is thought to be the son of George MAY and Katherine DeWALT of Berks/ Northumberland/Juanita County, Pennsylvania. There is a lot of circumstantial evidence to suggest this is his ancestry, but documentation has not yet been found.
