B. V. Bingham
Benjamin V. Bingham, well-known resident of Gardnersville, died Sept., 28, 1946, at his home at 9 A.M.
A native of Grant County, Mr. Bingham was the son of Jaehariach and Mary Jane Beach Bingham. He married Maude Hughes, who survives.
Besides his widow, Mr. Bingham leaves three sons, Fred Bingham and Raymond Bingham, both of Burlington, and Hobart Bingham of Covington; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Alfred of Covington; four brothers, Rube, Tom, Arthur and Otto Bingham, two sisters, Mrs. Cam Kennedy and Mrs. A. E. Sisson. He also leaves 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, Sept. 30, at 2 o'clock at the Gardnersville Christian Church, conducted by Rev. W. M. Wilson. Burial took place in the Gardnersville Cemetery. Casket bearers were nephews.
