Death of Mr. T. D. Via

Mr. Thos. D. Via, a well known resident of this city, died of pneumonia, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. F. Marsh, on Rose Hill, at an early hour this morning.

Mr. Via, who was in his 71st year, had been sick for only one week, but his advanced age made all the efforts of the physician and his devoted children of no avail.

He is survived by six children -- Mrs. C. E. Powell and Alonzo Via of Hinton, W. Va., Mrs. J. L. Bussenger, Mrs. J. C. Marsh, Mrs. W. F. Marsh and Mr. Chas. E. Via of this city.

Besides his children he leaves three brothers and three sisters. The funeral service will be held from the Christian Church tomorrow.
