"Robert Glover, in his deposition taken April 27th, 1793 said he had known John Jones for 50 years and that he was the son of Thomas Jones."

"In a deposition of Charles Maxey made June 8th 1793 he said that
John Anthony Jones was the son of William Jones.  Note- the above William
Jones was the son of the original Thomas Jones."

"There is a deed from William Jones to John Anthony Jones for 800 acres of land deeded Dec.10th 1776 from father to son."

"John Jones, Sr.  in a statement said that his father, Thomas Jones, asked permission to live with him, the said John Jones, in his old age. To this he agreed, in order that he might render his father help and assistance in his infirmity."

Jones vs. Jones, 1793, Deposition of Thomas Jones Jr. "..... that his father did agree to give Aaron Burleson a certain tract of land..... the quantity of acres not known by me but my brother John Jones did purchase the said tract of land of the said Burleson...."

"I, David Walker of Prince Edward, declare and confirm that a negro girl, Kate,
my property, I lent to my father, James Walker, of Buckingham.  I sold to my
brother, Henry Walker, decd.,  Kate and Milly. That the period at which the loan of Kate took place was a considerable time before the marriage of my sister, Agnes, with William Jones, decd. Sworn before a Magistrate May 19th 1783. Charles Allen - Magistrate."

Inventory and appraisement. Bedford Co., VA agreeable to an Order of the Nov. Court of Prince Edward Co., VA. WILLIAM JONES of Falling River, Preston Gilbert, and WILLIAM JONES, appraised personal estate of Constant Woodson deceased of Bedford Co. This document was signed by Jacob Woodson,adm'r as well as WILLIAM JONES SR and WILLIAM JONES JR.

Elizabeth Guilliam received a judgment from the court, but  William Johns'
administrator John Guilliam did not pay her , the District Court awarded
