These pages are dedicated to all the Joneses with a brick wall that is in need of a bit of chipping away. With perseverance and a great deal of help I have managed to knock my brick wall down. My problem was caused by some misinformation on official documentation that one might have expected to have been correct. Unfortunately this was not the case. The data that can be found in these pages relates to information I have come across during my own research. It is intended as an aid only and I can make no guarantee as to the accuracy of my transcribing. From my own experience there is nothing better than seeing the original census or manuscript.
