The name of Elias Earl's Father must be Ervin
not Evin. In the 1860 Calhoun County, Alabama
census Township 15 R11 it looks like Even or
Evin However, the 1870 Cleburne County census it
appears to be Ervin. I recall grandfather James
Henry Johnson mentioning this name. Also down
the Bragg and Johnson line the name Irvin is
used. Mary Jane's son John Ervin Bragg
Johnnie Johnson's son Ervin Johnson
* 1880 Beat 4 census
Ervin and Sarah living next to Elias E.
