By Elizabeth Chambless

Let's not spend idle hours in vain regretting;
    Let's climb and seek and strive toward other roads.
No longer say, "If I had done the other,"
    No longer carry yesterday's old loads.

It's morning, and the day is all before us;
    It's mroning, and the sun is in the sky.
The day may bring us deepest joy or sadness.
    But morning's here; we dare not stop to cry.

The glowing sky is full of rosy sunshine.
    It's morning, take what God gives us, and pray
For greater faith and courage to endeavor.
    God's blessing on us, we'll succeed today.
