Subj: Greene Co. AL Leigh/Lay wills

Hi all!

I have just spent the day at the LDS library. Hey John I was looking at
Wills  for Greene Co. Alabama and I did see Williams. I also found 3
Wills for a  Amos Lay of Greene County.  One in the year of 1837, 1851
and 1862. They are  not all the same person. The first 2 is the father
and the third is his son.  If I'm reading it correctly then Ann and
Nancy may  be sisters. The Ann that  shows in the will is Ann Clinton
Lay. Boy John how in the world do you read  these things. I will work
on transcribing for you all to read. It also shows  a Sarah Flowers.
