MEMBERSHIP IN GRANTS CREEK CHURCH, TUSCALOOSA CO. AL

My cousin Margaret Oliver Stevens provided me the following information
from photocopies of the Grants Creek (Tuscaloosa Co. AL) membership
rolls.

Ann R. and Rebecca were members of the church in 1876. There is no
indication of whether they joined by baptism or transfer.

Moses joined by baptism in 1877.

Moses and Ann were dismissed by letter in 1880.

Rebecca was dismissed by letter in 1881.

I had assumed the Rebecca was Mandy Becky, but it is quite possible
that this was the Rebecca M. Ashley who married Samuel Ashley in the
Moses' home (Tuscaloosa Co. AL) on 26 July 1876.
