Joe T. Robertson (s. of Mandy Becky) wrote "Aunt Fannie, wife of Uncle Mose" on the back of this tin-type. Note that another picture was identified as "Cousin Mose". John Thomas Robertson's family always used "Mose" rather than "Moses". An exception was the youngest daughter, who consistently insisted that her name was "Ann Moses" rather than "Annie Mose" (as she was just as consistently called).
