Otis Ray Jean, 76, a contractor, passed away Friday, July 25, 2003, at a local hospital.

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. 

Otis Jean was born May 5, 1927, in Hillsboro. 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Pauline Burns.

Survivors: Sons, Dennis Jean and his wife, Monnie of Fort Worth and Clarence Jean of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Chase Jean of Fort Worth and Tancy Jean of Granbury; brothers, Darrell Jean and wife, Geraldine of Arlington, Dempsey Jean and wife, Darlene of Hillsboro, Donald Jean and wife, Wanda of Morgan; sisters, Mozelle Perdue of Hillsboro, Ruthie Hudson and husband, Bill of Granbury and Katheryn Burnett of Anaheim, Calif.; brother-in-law, Bill Burns of Rendon; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
