Mrs. Mary Helen Yarber, 57, Alvarado, passed away December 26, 1980.  Owned and operated Grand Prairie Beauty College, Arlington Beauty College, Forty Oaks Beauty College, Hillsboro Beauty College.  Employed by Bill Jackson's Real Estate in Alvarado at the time of her illness.  Over the past 17 years, she has owned and operated local beauty schools and salons.  Member Alvarado Church of Christ.  Graduate Blum High School in Hillsboro, class of 1940.  Former resident Lott, Texas, 1952-1960.  

Survivors:  husband, Sammy Yarber, Alvarado; daughters, Wanda Johnson, Arlington, Gloria Elliott, Easterly, Lynn Wood, Corpus Christi, Samantha Lee, Arlington; brothers, Otto Jean, Jr., Burleson, Jimmy Jean, Austin; sisters, Harriet Seelinger, Burleson, Sondra Jones, Arlington; nine grandchildren.  Services 2 p.m., Sunday, Clayton Kay Funeral Chapel, Alvarado.  Interment Burleson Cemetery.
