Mrs. Lou Powell, 74, of Havana died Saturday, May 10, at her home. She was a lifelong resident of the Havana community, wife of the late Noel G. Powell, daughter of the late Fred and Melissa Morris Jean, and was a member of the Church of God of Abraham Faith of Havana.

Survivors include four sons, Leon and Noel Powell Jr. of Havana, Russell Powell of Oakland, California and William Powell of Little Rock, a brother William Jean of El Dorado; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. 

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. today at Havana Cemetery by the Rev. E. Tackett with burial by Gardner Funeral Service.
