LORENE L. JOHNSON 

1919 - 2003

Lorene L. Johnson, 83, of El Dorado, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Medical Center of South Arkansas following a brief illness. 

Born Sept. 17, 1919, in Union County, she was the daughter of Henry and Annie Jean Lee. 

She was a homemaker and a long-time member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry M. Johnson; and a sister, Inez Cates. 

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Johnson and his wife, Beth, of Fulshear, Texas, and Roy Johnson of El Dorado; a sister, Irene Roberson of El Dorado; and one grandchild, Shane Johnson. 

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. 

Thursday at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Gordon officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. 

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
