Irene C. Prewitt, 102, of Jasper died Oct. 20, 2000, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Jasper Church of Christ with burial at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper.

A native of Merryville, La., she lived in Jasper many years.

Survivors include sons, Charles D. Prewitt and Bluett E. Prewitt, both of Jasper; daughters, Christene Ratcliff of Jasper, Peggy Stone of Buna and Brenda Rickenbrode of Jacksonville, Fla.; 22 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 56 great-great-grandchildren.
