Mrs. Dority was born May 8, 1916. She was a member of the Strawfloor Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Ark. She was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro having moved to Poplar Bluff a few years ago. She was former owner of Dority Trailer Park. She was also a homemaker.
She married Floyd Dority. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1998.
Survivors include one son, Hugh Dority and wife Betty of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Leon Jeans of Bono, Ark.; three sisters, Virgie Wells of Rockford, Ill., Edith Horseman of Calico Rock, Ark. and Violia Scallions of Chesterfield; and two grandchildren, Donna Dority and Justin Dority, both of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Friday) at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Mark Saddler officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Log Cemetery.
