                       Valentine Keeley, along with two of his brothers, Jonis
        and Michael, immigrated to America on the ship, " Mortonhouse".
        They arrived at the Port of Philadelphia, on August 24, 1728.
        One record suggests, Valentine's wife, Susanna, and two of their oldest
        children, also, accompanied the three brothers on their trip to America.
        Most of this family, first settled in the area north of  the City of
        Philadelphia. Valentins Keeley, was naturalized in the Supreme Count
        at Philadelphia, in September of 1740. Valentine's will is on file, in
        Philadelphia, it is dated October 5, 1754 and proved on June 3, 1771.
        Valentine and Susanna raised these five children.

                       1. Valentine, birth date unknown, who married Elizabeth.
        They resided in Douglas Twp., Berks County, and together they raised
        five children.

                      4. Mary
                      5. Elizabeth
        Records show, there was a close relationship between Valentine, his
        wife, Elizabeth and Johannes and Anna Maria ( Kiehle) Romig.

                      2. Mathias, born September 15, 1722, died, January 28,
        1808. Mathais and wife, Eva, last name unknown, they settled in Chester, County.
                     1. Elizabeth, born April 12, 1748
                     2. Susannah, born February 14, 1750, later married to
                         Henry Christman.
                     3. John, born, April 4, 1752
                     4. Anna Maria, born February 21, 1755

                     3. Sebastian, born 1729, married Elizabeth Christman, they
        settled in Vincent Twp., Chester County, and raised the following Children.
 
                    1. John
                    2. Mathias
                    3. Jacob
                    4. Andrew
                    5. Sebastian
                    6. George, who later in life settled in New Hanover,
                      Montgomery County.
                    7. Joseph
                    8. Elizabeth

                    4. Anna Maria, April, birth date unknown, died April, 1807.
        First married George Christman, secondly Johannes Romig. They
        settled in the Worman area of Berks County, Pa., and together they
        raised six children.

                   1. John, born February 21, 1763, in Earl Twp., Berks County,
        died july 26, 1822, in Earl, Douglas Twp., Berks County. Married
        Magdalena Schwartzenback , born April 10, 1768, in Graschost,
        Germany. Diec September 25, 1842, in Earl, Douglas, Twp., Berks County.

                   2. George, born January 9, 1765, in Earl Twp., Berks County,
        died April, 2, 1850, in Amity Twp. He married Sophia Fritz, born,
        November 17, 1773, in Berks Twp., died, March 24, 1828, in Amity Twp.,
        Berks County, Pa.

                 3. Christian, born  January 13, 1766  in Earl Twp., Berks-
        County, Pa.,and died on March 5, 1844, In Douglas Twp., Berks,-
        County, Pa., married Catherine  Speidel, born, November 15, 1767,
        died, January 31, 1844, In Douglas, Twp., Berks County, Pa.

                4. Jacob, born August 16, 1772, In Earl Twp., Berks County.
        Died August 1834 in Exeter Twp., Berks County. Married Susan Weidner,
        Born February 16, 1785,  In Earl/Douglas Twp., Berks County, and
        died Ffebruary 4, 1864, in Exeter Twp., Berks County,  Pa.

               5. Catherine, born 1774, Earl Twp., Berks County, and died'
        August 6, 1787, in Earl Twp., Berks County, Pa.

               6. Henry, born March 21, 1776, In Earl Twp., Berks County,
        died December 27, 1843, in Clay Twp., Lancaster County, Pa.,
        married Mary Catherine Spira, born March 20, 1781 in Pottstown, Pa.,
        and died August 8, 1860,  in Clay Twp.,, Lancaster County, Pa.

                 Through out the years, the Keeley name, like most surnames
        has been spelled many different ways. I read one time, that the proper
        German spelling is Kiele.  More research, must be done with this family.
