The information, that I have on the Irvin Family, begins with a
Martin Irvin, born February 22, 1818, died, September 19, 1884. Martin-
married Catherine Ream, born December 17, 1820, died, October 25, 1900.
Catherine, was a descendant of Mathias Ream, 1726/1789, and brother to Tobias,
founder of Reamstown, Pa. Martin and Catherine raised nine Children.

               1. Daniel Ream Irvin, born February 3, 1843, died, August 11, 1892. Daniel, married Fianna Royer, born, December 28, 1848, died, July 2, 1931. Daniel and Fianna, raised four Children.

                    1. Phares G. Irvin, born, September 13, 1868, died 1935, married in
1891, to Hannah Swartz, born, December 26, 1869. This couple resided in Ephrata.

                    2. Mary Francis Irvin, born February 27, 1870, died 1949, married
in 1889 to Harvey Romig, born, December 6, 1867, died, November 5, 1952  in
Akron, Pa., Francis and Harvey in their later years, owned and operated the
Akron Hotel, Akron, Lancaster County, Pa. These two are my Great Grandparents.

                    3. Elizabeth R. Irvin, born February 28, 1872, married in 1895 to
Wayne Mohn, born September 16, 1870. This couple resided in Adamstown, he
was part owner of a Mill in Mohntown, Berks County, Pa.

                    4. Katie R. Irvin, born July 1, 1882 and married in 1904 to
Aaron Ibach, born march 20, 1875. This couple resided in Ephrata, where Aaron
was a police officer.

                3. Susanna Irvin, who married Oliver Strohl

                4. Pierce Irvin, born 1848, died 1925 married to Emma, born 1851, died
1931..Resided in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Pa. Raised two Children,

                        1.Flora S. born 1872, died, 1948.

                        2. Mabel R. born 1874, died, 1875.

                6. Martin D. Irvin, born, 1850, died July 24, 1908. Martin married a
Sarah H. born 1848 and died, August 20, 1928.

                7. Rufus Irvin married to a Celia and they have two Children buried
at the Salem Lutheran, Lincoln, Lancaster County, Pa.

                        1. Willlie Irvin, born, 1881, died, March 14, 1884.

                        2. Harry G. Irvin, born 1879, died March 4, 1884.

Most of these Irvins, lived in the Ephrata, Lincoln, Clay area of Lancaster County.
Most of these Irvins, including my Great-Great Grandparents, Daniel and Fianna
are buried at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lincoln, Pa. My Great Grandparents
Harvey and Mary Francis Romig, along with my Grandparents, Parents, Sister, are buried at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Akron, Lancaster County, Pa.
