Pat and Joe's Home Page

Hi, I'm Pat - the 'better half' of "Pat & Joe Travis". I enjoy antiques, crafts, quilts, flower gardening (my favorite is the iris) and vegetable gardening (despite the fact that I haven't had one for a number of years now).

I'm a Social Worker working as a Case Manager for the Kansas 'Southeast Area Agency on Aging' and I love it. I help people over 65 stay in their homes with services or help to find resources for them to reduce the chance of nursing home facility placement. It is very rewarding.

I am not into computers, much to my husbands chagrin, but I am still learning many new things. Other than my work, I enjoy camping, canoeing, taking care of our property and, of course, always enjoy our grandchildren (we don't look old enough in our cover picture do we? ;)

I am an avid Teddy Bear collector. My favorites are Raikes Bears. If you don't know about them; look below - they have wooden faces and paws.

I have many other 'precious' Teddy's too!
