I have the Spayd family back to about 1820.
Lillie Spayd was Joe's paternal grandmother. She was born in Bowers, Kent County, DE in 1891.
Lillie's father was Elmer Elwood Spayd and her mother was Rachel M. Albin.
Elmer's father was Washington E. Spayd and his mother was Susan B. Martin.
Washington's father was William Spayd.
