Saturday before the third Sabbath in August 1838. After Divine service the Church proceeded to business Bro. Baines Moderator.

1^st Invited visiting members to seats with us.

2^nd Opened a door for the reception of members and received the following. John Warner by experience and William Daniel and Martha Daniel by letter.

3^rd Extended the right hand of fellowship to brother Flood and brother Davis who were received and baptised at a meeting held on Big Creek the forth sabbath in July.

4^th The committee appointed to purchase a book and record all the proceedings of the Church in it made their report and wished further information.

5^th On motion deferred the mater until next meeting and meet very early next meeting and attend to the request of the committee.

6^th On motion appointed Brother Beal Gaither Treasurer Deacons.

7^th The letter to the association was read and unanimously adopted.

Conference then closed by prayers and benediction by the moderator.

1^st Invited brethren of sister Churches to seats.

2^nd Opened a door for the reception of members and received the following:

By experience W. B. Keith, Rhoda Harden and Mary Keith. By letter Sister Martha Morice.

4^th Called for references and took up the case relative to the Committee on the Church book, and appointed the following Members to attend to and regulate all its proceedings. Geo. W Baines, Beal Gaither, Leonard Huff, Stephen Keith and J B Keith.

5^th Resolved that brother Geo. W Baines prepare a letter and bear it to New Hope Church requesting Ministerial aid at our next meeting at which time the Church resolved to commune.

7^th On motion Conference then closed.
