After Devine service the church set in conference appointed brother Baines,
Moderator and brother J. W. Keith Clerk Protem
1st Invited visiting brethren to seats with us
2nd Opened the door to receive members and received Brother Geo.
W. Baines by letter
3rd Called brother Baines to serve the church as a Supply
for the present year.
On motion conference closed in order J. W. Keith Clerk Protem, J.H.
Marshall Clerk
(The following are minutes which followed May 1845. Because of their
date I am placing them in date order with the rest of the other minutes. I know
at this time the church was holding missionary meetings at the homes of members.
I believe this is one of the minutes from one of these missionary meetings.)

Crooked Creek Church met at Brother Niclols. After worship proceeded
to business.
Invited visiting brethren of our faith to seats with us.
Opened a door for the reception of members called for references called for
avocation of brother Nichiols ministry at our next meeting agreed.
Agreed to send Enon in Mt. Giled churches for their ministerial
aid by letter and D. Higeets? Appoint brother J. Eoff, S. J. McMahan
to review the letters to Mt. Giled church at our next meeting. And be at W.
W. Ingram. B McMahan recorded this D. F. Coker, Mo.
