The United Baptist Church of Jesus Christ at Bethany do dismiss our
beloved Brother & Sister John Baughman & Dorathy Baughman
his wife with recommendation of his being a faithful deacon, a member of our
body in full fellowship with us & is hereby dismist from us when joined to
any other church of the same faith & order. This done in Church Conference
the Saturday before the Second Lords Day in January 1842. Madison
